Been looking/searching for a straight shot, of a stock 32 firewall to use as some sort of a reference for locating the radiator support rod firewall brackets on my roadster project. I'm using a Brookville flat firewall that has stock style beading which I'll use as some sort of reference, could anyone help? Some dimensions would be sweet, but just a good pic would be a big help:)

    Thanks!

Center to center of the two brackets is 12 3/8".

It wasn't easy to hold the tape measure in just the right place with one hand and hold the camera with the other, but it's two inches from the bottom of the lip to the centers of the mounting holes.

32 Wescott body, but they're pretty good about putting things where they should go.

I wouldn't sweat it too much if it's a little off to one side or the other.
It's conceivable you may have to move the brackets due to engine accessories etc.

Just went out and measured mine, Dave is right,2" on the outer rivet,2 1/4" on the one closest to the center of firewall to compensate for the curvature of firewall, sorry Dave, your picture must have been taken on an angle or something!
