Why no nerf bars

    all these retro rods but no one has or initials Nerf bars, Why?

    I was wondering that myself awhile back.

    I plan on making some nerfs outta round bar for my T......may even put my intitial on it.....just like the old days....
     

  5. A good question.... nerf bars were on everything in the late 50s and 60s. Thanks for the reminder, I'm gonna think about some for my build.

    Put one on mine (no initials) as a tribute to all the bull ring jalopys I saw as a kid.

    Did anyone else notice the smooth, subtle, ELEGANT nerf bars on the red '40 coupe in one of the recent TRJs?

    The coupe was on Halibrands / Real Wheels.. front sheetmetal was sectioned a few inches for ground clearance... surely someone has a picture of it.

    That is the finest, simplest set of nerf bars I've seen.. would really like to see them done like that more often.

    No initials put i made mine out of junk i.v. Poles.
     
  16. I did a set of inital nerf bars for my 32. Then I noted that DA on the car would cause alot of negative comments....
