'50's panel/early '60's van as a service vehicle ?

    Did not notice where you lived when I saw the post originaly. Having driven vintage vans and panels in all 4 seasons in Ontario and Quebec I would have to say it would be totally impractical given our winters to use one as a service vehicle. Winter is brutal on vehicles and it would be a shame to ruin a vintage van or panel doing this.

    Yeah, I've been thinking about the whole "ice-box heating" and the way our stuff gets chewed up by the rust bug here, let alone the 401 on a greasy day ..... I may re-think the idea now, although I drove by a Falcon window van that was for sale today .....

    I've had good luck with this Willys. It has won me a few good jobs. It's not that nice but is so odd that people think it is. It's my only vehicle in the summer months so It gets a lot of miles on it. Hasn't let me down...yet.
