I have some of the best friends and club mates in the world. My dad has had a pretty shitty year so far, in and out of the hospital and just bad news. Well it is time to start getting ready for the Turkey Run and my dad's car is not even close to being ready to go. A bunch of guys got together today to help out. I don't have many pictures, too much work, but we got alot done. I cannot thank these guys enough. And most importantly, these guys made an pretty reserved guy very happy.

He was very surprised. I failed to tell him I had 15 guys coming to work on his car. We will be at TRR for sure.

They are some real good friends. They were willing to do what ever needs to be done. Most wanted to know when we were gonna be taping it up for primer, so they could come and help.

I could have used the good Karma on the way home from his house. I got a nice $208.00 dollar speeding ticket!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

I had a great time helping him out and working with our fellow club members and friends.

Let me know when you guys are ready to tape that thing up. Give me a few weeks to put some money aside for the next speeding ticket though.:D

That was kinda funny. If you had driven the surburban you would have been going way slower, and could have saved some money.

Again I would like to thank everybody, even Squigy.

Thanks for the offer. I'm gonna try and shoot it this coming weekend. Still have a few things to finish up first.

That is all the pics I took. Too busy working. I think Rockabillybus took some also. Dad is doing better, thanks for asking. This was the first work done to the car since the begining of the year.

Just a little update. Got more body work done tonight. Electric doors hooked up. Tomorrow weld up door handle holes and start prepping for primer.

Yeah he is. Still a few more things to get over. We're trying to beat the last minute rush getting the car ready for Daytona.

I hear ya. I took my body off the 35 to get the bodywork done. I am replacing all the bad metal. Not enouph hours in the day. Running out of time as usual. Happy sanding. We will see you up at the Turkey Run.
