thinking of these three colors for the merc. by hot rod flatz anyone have any shots of rides with these colors? california suede metallic, gun smoke metallic, silver sled metallic. any pics would be great. thnx j
i like the outer two. The inner one just looks normal silver. I know its metallic but the others are different. sorry i dont have any pics either.
Any Updates on the Merc? When can I go see it? Let me know when your going over there again, I wanna go. You should do the outer two colors, use both ...Wheel/body combo. The silver sled metallic is coming across like it has some green in it. Could just be me. Photoshop it lazy. Trout
I have silver sled still in the gallon. Sprayed a test panel, bought it for my 55 Olds and agreed, it wasn't very exciting at all, hence it still being in the gallon.
damn, i really like that silver sled, im looking for a dark gray for the bel air, got any pics of the test panel?
Where are you? I might, who knows. As for the test panel this was in 04, its long since been cut up and used for patch panels. Im exit 140 on the parkway.
im down in south jersey right by the walt whitman bridge btw, theres a pre 72 show on rt 206 at picilili bar and grill on october 25th if your interested, did the paint come out more of a dark grey or light grey? im looking for a dark grey
how does hot rods flat hold up and how is it price wise?? what did that gallon of metallic silver cost you??
damn, i need the color to the right, the gun smoke metallic no, not near connie macs, thats by me, the picilili is near atco raceway
Any flattened silver or grey paint is going to risk looking like primer unless you're right up close to it. Personally I would avoid white and all shades of grey if it's going to be flat.
i will even use grey primer, i just havnt seen any dark gray around the local stores, i just dont want flat black or light grey (its light grey right now)
