I am building a 36 ford pickup from the ground up. I am looking for some ideas to help me with my build. I need pics of 30's pickups done in a more traditional 50's 60's style, not all hacked up and thrown together like the "RATRODDERS" do. i want something that that is low, clean and fenderless. So post any pics you have that might help my build.
    thanks

Wow, nice truck. Man i knew it was getting hard to find cars nowadays but for there to be only one fenderless pickup out there is rediculous

This has got to e one of my favorite trucks. As soon as I'm done with my Dodge, my next build is going to be a 30-34 Ford.

Don Schumacher's '35 is the best early Ford hot rod pickup I've ever seen:

...and my '34 was built to represent a similar era:

Although Don's truck and mine were both built within the last 10 years or so, this '37 was built by Valley Custom back in the day. It's radical, but it's great:

...oops, you said fenderless. Sorry, can't help you there.

Here is my 34 truck, time from pulled out of a field in Minnesota to on the road in under 6 months. Not a super shiney truck, but it could be I suppose. Nothing newer than 1953 ford F100 parts used.

My most favorite pickup of all time. I should have bought it when I had the chance.

On further thought, I don't think you'll find many pictures -- if any -- of a fenderless '35/36 pickup built in the '50s. Fenderless cars pretty much stopped at '34.

Has there ever been a cooler 50's pickup then Bleed's old survivor? I think not.

So you're the guy.......I've been looking for you. I love that truck.

As far as your first question, if you are looking for fenderless pics there is a thread on here called "bobber trucks" I think. As far as being traditional fenderless 35-37 Fords are not. There may have been a few around but it is more of a 2000 era fad.

50fraud, i realize that most fenderless trucks were 34 and down, but i am just looking for that "style" for ideas. i am piecing together this truck and want to make sure that this is the way i want to go. i started out with a cab, motor, and grill. hunting down fenders for this truck is going to be a pain so i want to see fenderless so i can get a pic in my head of what i want to do.
