My name is Curtis George, ive been a student at Hot Rod Institute since June 2008. Im currently in the Chassis Fabrication class and have been working on my 49 F-1 frame. So far I've put a Heidt's Mustang II IFS kit on and on the rear I used a Ford 8.8" with a triangulated four link kit from Welder Series. Most of the welds on this frame were done with TIG. I am planning adding a K or X member after i get engine and trans, but will be a while before that happens due to funds:rolleyes:. Plan on putting a 351W with a Tremec 5-speed in. I will add more pics when I get into Body Fabrication.

Here are a couple pics of what I have been doing:

  2. Nice work. From the looks of it you are going to be low to the ground.

Hey, great work! Thanks for using our four link kit. I think if it was my truck I would box in the upper frame brackets because of how long they need to be for your truck... just a suggestion.

Please let me know if there's any other parts we can help with!
