This is interesting. Looks like the truck on the top serves as the power source for the winch on the back of the tow truck. Not the way I'd make a homemade crane but it's interesting.

I threw some muscle remnants in there just for fun. Ohio isn't as kind to cars as the western states are.

This is the same yard as I posted before. He's still got doors and fenders from 50's cars lined up as they were when they were pulled in the 50's.

Probably my next project, unless sanity prevails.

These are still in the yard. Yard has been closed since the early 70's and the guy that owns it is nuts.

It's like going to the local pound - you want to take them all home !!
The new release of Still Runnin Magazine has junkyard find
for the cover and back cover in SR3

  26. I hope some of these images are a wake-up call for you guys that have surface rusted cars on purpose. They look like shit now, and this is the destiny of those cars for later. Maybe we should try to insure they are around for the next generation of hot rodders?

love this thread . Brings back great memories of going with my dad to find parts . We used to go to a yard called Hordusky's (that's probably spelled wrong,) it was in north eastern Ohio. I have some of Dale Klees art hanging on my walls. Great pictures
