Lets see your '37-40's

Looking for pis of some traditional '37-'40 coupes (any make) you guys have built.

 

Here's mine--25 years on the road--almost 100,000 mile and still beatin' the hell out of it--

 

Can't turn down the opportunity.. Same car.. about 10 years between them.

 

This is not a Ford, but it does have a nine inch!

New Fuel system finished
Flathead gone
New 509 Cadillac BB w/turbo 400 ready to install this week

Should be drivable by January '09

Here's Mine.
I bought it when I was 12 years old. I've had it for 26 years. Been on the road for 16 years, It's NEVER had a hood on it since I got it on the road...

 

Why do 39-41 Fords look so good without hoods?

It's amazing how many people don't "get" why I run hoodless and ask when I'm going to put a hood on it.
The old guys who do always tell me thats how they ran them back when were young. The Greybeards also like to give me a hard time about not having enough carbs on it though...

 

that black one looks street rod but has a flathead & quickchange.







I guess you can tell which one is mine!
I'd go hoodless full-time if it wasn't for the dust moisture.

Here's mine,Barn find a few years ago.

 

Friend of mine offered me a '37 five window coupe for a really good price. I was thinking long and hard about picking it up, but then I thought maybe I should just finnish my '31 first.
