All the best to you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Three years ago my oldest son had a brain tumor removed. Most of it was removed anyway. What is left is growing very sowly and shouldn't be a problem (we hope and pray anyway). He is 95% back to where he was before all this. I hope your results are as good as his.

Good luck and no worries- I ( along with most of my friends) am living proof that You don't need all of that brain. I am pretty sure I dissolved a bunch of mine, and Me do Math gud.Me speel gud, 2.

    :D

Seriously. Good luck. I have a ritual I like to do whenever I am being put under for anestesia- it's fun, and I sugest trying it. Last time, I had M.R.S.A. in my inner thigh and was going under the knife. (precursor-I am heavily tattooed, stretched earlobes, and have 2 gunshot scars-long story...) The anestesiologist came in to do her Job, and I asked her if this was going to hurt. (keep in mind, I had a total of 4 various I.V.'s at the time, ranging in size from the itty bitty "butterfly" type to a knitting needle someone dug out of the back of thier camry.) She just laughed. She then gave me a "numbzit" shot, and I looked at her and said "that hurt!"

They always ask how bad it hurt. it's a knee jerk reaction.

    so I said....
"More than a paper cut, but less than a chainsaw."

good for a laugh, because the injector always looks the injectee over for missing limbs and digits. Made her smile for sure.

  18. Good luck and best wishes. Kick that sucka in the ass, you got stuff to build.

Prayers sent for a complete recovery and the continued consideration of a loving heavenly father. I know the power of prayer. It brought me through seven brain operations and a year and a half of rehab to relearn how to walk, dress myself, write my name, and feed myself.

  24. I'm praying for ya..

My dad had a brain tumor in 1984, at the base of his spinal cord. Even with 80's technology they removed it and he was fine. With medical advances we have these days, your outlook should be positive.

It sounds like you have a great attitude!

I'm tearing apart my '49 Chevy panel truck as I write this (I'm getting grease all over my keyboard!). :) I'll probably need your help in getting it back together, so get well soon!

We'll keep you in our prayers! God is good!
