OK, so I don't get to go to the Rhinebeck event for a few years and you East Coast guys change the whole thing up on me. Last time I went I saw lots of bad customs and such with things like double Continental kits and sunroofs in hoods. Now I get to go back, expecting the worst, and you guys rule it! There were a bunch of killer hot rods and customs.

    What the hell?

    Fonzie was pissed!

The weather Friday sucked. Saturday's forecast wasn't much better, but it turned out to be just very cloudy - no rain during the day. The bummer was that Sunday's forecast looked like complete shit and many headed home. Then it ended up being full-on sunny and about 92 degrees. Humid as fuck, but a beautiful day none-the-less. I wish I could be wrong as often as weathermen and still have a job.

Here's some of what I saw. More in the Gazette.

About time you posted your crap!

Hey RHINEBECK...thanks for NOTHING! I barely found anything I liked at that event. I was looking forward to cool shit, but I only found a few things that were just like the '50s.

    Rhinebeck gets a NAAAAAAAAY!

If I ever go back I'll try to fit in with the cool guys better by growing a mustache, wearing a tank top and sporting a gold necklace. One hell of a good look!

    Here's what was cool...

A chick to put with your model car that looks like she's taking a crap on it? Aaaaaay!

    Another crapping chick?! Aaaaay!

I'm working on a new product. It's going to be a huge carburetor that covers your injection setup.

Good eye. Hey, if you're going to build a "new" car, you may as well do it right.

Thank you Kirk! What a great group of cars and trucks. I always look at your posts and I always find great photography. Looks like the east coast is embracing paint! It'll take awhile for the trend to get here, however. I will be doing my part though.

That 3w was just finished and driven to Bonneville with the Boners for its *shakedown run*.....it's owner/builder is Jake Roberts from Long Island......

Jake is a good friend and I can hardly wait to see the coupe in person!

That car also went to Bonneville last month. If I remember correctly, it even has an early hemi under the hood - awesome car!

Thanks for the pics, KIRK! Quality.

I do, but not by choice. He's pretty much a dick and has bad taste in cars, so I try to avoid him if I can. I'm usually hanging out with chicks while he likes to talk to people about cars. Boring!
