Ok so be serious. You took these pics along the course of this build which actually took you a year. Now you're just posting them every few days creating the illusion that you work this fast. Right? :)

Wow man, perfect door gaps and a really nice roof line. And I don't like these Chevys!

    Keep it up.

haha :)! man,, i wish it was done already...:( :)

in all seriousness, though,,i have just been really excited to get home after work everyday and work on this thing, i really havent been thrashing on it,,just an average of about 2 hours a night, which doesnt sound like a lot,but it all adds up quickly
as soon as the roof and a few other odds and ends on the body are done,,i will probably slow down on it for a while..

Nice.Do you have any plans for other custom mods?

  10. How did I miss this earlier?

Great work Sam. I'n not usually a fan of "4 to 2 door" conversions but rarely are they done this nicely. Most are hack jobs buried in Bondo.

You've taken a nice car & turned it into a kick ass custom. I love it.

  11. Bravo! You make it look so easy... very nice.

I also think it's amazing that you're able to take pictures at the exact same time everyday! (According to the clock on the shop wall) :)

Yeah, he told me it's going to be Robin's Egg blue with a White top... :D

Looks great Sam! Somehow, I thought you were going to keep this one a 4dr cause it was so nice... Glad I was wrong.

Inspiring work and volume of work....

  14. HA!!!!

    4:20! haha,only a few have ever got that,,,haha,,NO! i dont smoke pot,,but i did along time ago!:)

Boones,,,color? ,,what else,,but brandywine metallic!...well,,i am kinda leaning that way..

00MACK,,,i'm not planning any crazy mods,,other than a shaving, frenching stock hdlmp rings, nosing decking..i would LOVE a 50 CADDY (60series) grill, but thats just a thought,,have a 54(?) ford front bumper to mount in the rear,,thinking of panckacking the trunk lid,,,borderline on it...

KILLROY,actually when i first bought the car,,i was thinking of building a BOMBA outta it and doing it robins egge blue and white,,but alot of the 4dr specific trim was either dinged up or hand sand scratches all over it and i didint want to mess with finding all of that stuff,,:D

Yeah...I can never figure out if pancaking the trunk needs to be done on a 51 or 2.That shoebox we chopped in my mothers back yard in my thread titled,My favorite shoebox has a 50 Cad grille bar that my buddy Joe screwed some teeth to just messin around cause the bar was shot.

    update:

I finally got the back window metal work done.
had to do a lil hammering and massasing in the C pillar crown area(tried to avoid doing that, but whatta ya gonna do..I dont have an english wheel) ..I also removed the entire crown over the rear window

after a few tries I finally got it were I am happy with it.

I still have a bunch of lil things to finish up on the chop...lil by lil :)
(oh yeah..had to patch the area above the left rear wheel well,it had a lil rust there, but that is the only bit of rust I have found on the car so far...)

Lookin great Sam. I really have had a hard time liking these chopped, I guess its cuz most guys hammer them way down. But between yours and Flops Pontiac, they are really starting to grow on me. Way to go.
