I was wondering if any of you guys know who could split a Plymouth 218/230 manifold? Thanks for the help!
This guy does it - $185 plus $22 shipping/priority mail using your core . using his core$ 215 email [email protected] p.s. I'm not vouching for him, just saw the ad.
George Asche does them, but dont know his phone. Someone on the forum at www.p15-d24.com will know his phone #.
If you're looking for something around the same price, Langdons Stovebolts has the Offy intakes for $235 and fenton headers. Other goodies to be had there as well. http://www.stoveboltengineco.com/
I'm to damn cheap to pay someone else so I did mine myself, not that hard at all, worst part was finding the flange so I made that also. next I am going to do the intake.
I have been running one of George Asche's split exhaust manifolds on my Plymouth for about 5 years now and it has held up well. He cuts the neck off of another exhaust manifold and rewelds that back on, right before the heater box for the carb. He then takes the valve out of the box and welds shut the first three cylinders splitting the manifold in two.
George Asche did one that I just sold...nice work and a good price cool tees: www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=236347
