Well.. its time for some new rubber... What do you guys prefer for reliability and everyday driving... Coker or BF Goodrich wide whites....

Mistyped- Michelin over BFGoodrich... sorry 'bout that!

When did michelin start making wide whites, and where did you find them?

    BF Goodrich... my error.. sorry

Coker website offers both.. I was quite surpised myself and the prices are similar between the two.. I was gonna get cokers.. now the BF Goodrich's threw a wrench into the plan for now... Just curious to see what others are doing and/or reccomending before I drop $800-$900 on new rubber.

I wonder if the alliance discount varies between the Goodrich tires and the Coker brand. May be something to consider since you are an Alliance member.

Just an FYI, the "B.F. Goodrich" tires are made by Coker.

  9. What size are you looking to get and how big do you want your white wall?

I love my Cokers and the price was great. Viva La Alliance membership

  13. So you want radials not bias ply, right?

Yes. I am looking at radial tires.
    tks

  16. I bought Goodyear tires from Kelsey Tires in Camdenton MO. Their phone number is 573-346-2506. I have had them on my truck for 3 years and they are great.

  17. Since you're an Alliance Member, I would definitely recommend going through Coker and getting the discount. Your probably not going to find Wide Whites with a 65 or 70 sidewall though. I realistic tire would be a Coker Classic P225/75R15 with 2 3/4" Whitewall at $206 each not including your Alliance discount.

  18. I have them on my Fury and my truck and I'm pleased with them. I bought a set at NSRA York and they shipped FREE.

I'm running Diamond backs, and I love them. Well , I love them as much as you can love a tire! They have been trouble free and still look good after 7 years.

I also run the Diamond Backs. Have had them for a little less than 2 years and they are great! I like the side thread pattern more on the DB than the Cokers or Firestones..

Love my Cokers!! Great tires, service, price-(Alliance Discount), and continual H.A.M.B. support. Was great to see Cokers cool set up at the drags!! My 2 cents!! Sololobo

I like Chin Chen and put them on everything.

    They are the best.

No discount but you can get a set for the price of one Coker

  26. I have Goodyears from Lucas in Long Beach, CA. Some guys bag on me cause they're radials, but for driving, especially on the freeway or at speeds, they're great. Probably they're all about the same (if they're radials), check out the look, not to aggessive treads so they don't stand out, and check price and warranty.

  27. Just mounted up a set of stones and they look and ride great. Coker's Alliance discount was very generous also. Support your Alliance vendors.
