Hot Rods 1 bad 65 twin cities

I've gotten really interested in rat rods lately. I want to get one So if you know of any cheap or body's frame's or an old jalopy you know of it would be great. I have cars that i would trade to get me one of them.

Sounds like a personal problem. Rust should be fixed and rats should be exterminated. The HAMB is about traditional cars not rat rods.

 

ok, To me a rat rod is an under built pile of scrap parts put together by someone that has no business building a car.
This site is about...Spreading the gospel of traditional hot rods and customs to hoodlums world wide...
Again, do you want a rusty rat rod or a traditional hotrod?
If you want to build rusty junk go somewhere else.

Maybe you just need to be steered in to a more HAMB friendly direction.
Try to use the term HOTROD instead of ratrod.

I do agree, the term is being used loosely to describe that which is neither traditional or rat, that's all.

Dude, keep your eyes and ears open. Look around for something that will fit your budget and mechanical ability. There are a lot of project cars out there that somebody started and gave up on. I usually find something great when I'm not looking for it, just dumb luck.

Don't let these guy scare you off. Most of them were where you're at somewhere in the past. There's a lot of stuff here in Minnesnowta yet. If you're not a member of MSRA, join. The line chaser has a great want add section in it. Go the shows and swap meets. There is one in St. Peter coming up that is always a good place to look for projects. The Roadster meet is also getting close. You don't want to miss that one either. Look around for other rodders in your area. That's were you will find the best deals. There is a lot of good info on this site, you just have to learn how to play the game here.
