I turned 17 in 1987, so I got the baddest modern 'hot rod' that was available that year - the Buick Regal Grand National. Wow - what a fast car !

64 Rambler American wagon. Flat head six, three on the tree.

  15. 63 1/2 Galaxy, 4 speed, low riser, single 4 barrel, Kelsey 5 spokes and factory traction bars. That engine, it was hmmmm, oh yeah, 4 2 7

  16. 1960 Ford 2 door 6 cylinder stick. Not even a radio. paid 45 bucks for it in '67, drove it 2 years. A dollar's worth of gas and 2 or 3 buddies (male/female) & we were good for the night.

    1966 Mustang, 289 - silver with a black vinyl top, I think it was a T-Bird color.

  22. I had a 55 Belair 2-door post with a 375 horse 396, fenderwell headers, T-10 4-speed, etc. but I still feel bad about the 34 Ford 3-window that sat in the garage unfinished because of extreme lack of funds. :( :( :( If I only knew then what I know now! :(

Class of 1981. I drove my 55 Chevy, 2dr sedan 210. original black paint with black primer spots. Black steel wheels, with Farm King Widetrack Super 60's on the back(G60x15) and Sears G78x14's on the front. The Farm King tires wore like iron and made really smokey burnouts. 283 bored to 292, muncie 4 speed and 4:56 rear gears. It was generally considered a piece of crap, by my classmates cause it wasn't a Z-28 or a Trans-Am. Still have it today.:D Hasn't changed much, except shiney paint and nice upholstry. Has the same 283, but it's bored to 301 now. Still does nice smokey burnouts.

didnt have any of my hamb related cars running at the time but I drove a 1980 porsche 924 turbo, a 1984 maserati biturbo, and a 67 pontiac executive. Had about 3 thousand invested in all three. Still have the exec and the biturbo. sold the porsche about a month ago to fund my fleetline project.:)

  29. I had a 1932 Ford five window coupe. Chopped and channeled with 401 Buick nailhead. Wish I still owned it!
