Looks like the trade is a done deal !! My 80 Corvette for the 56 Chevy Wagon. Now I am one of you guys, I hope :) Many thanks for everyones advice.....It actually helped ease my wife's (and my) mind knowing that I am not the only one who would make the trade. I went with my heart and not my eyes............So, I am sure I'll be asking for a lot of advice and pointers in the next few months.

My thanks again. Here is the Wagon one more time.......

I never had a mullet thankfully. BUT, I had hair down to the middle of my back for 27 years and just cut it short for the first time a month ago. Not sure how to act with short hair.

Kerry! Awesome trade man! I'm really glad you found a sweet wagon to trade that vette for. I think my brother said you talked to that guy with old buick wagon that we had looked at - but this chevy looks to be in much better condition. Congratulations man.

Cool, I don't have any car friends here. My brother has a 65 Belair but if it is not shiny it is a piece of crap to him.

  12. good move on the trade, now get your woman in the back of that wagon and..............

nice trade, but I'm afraid you may never lose the stigma of having proudly owned an 80 vette lol.

I love most Vettes but C3s are turds. Hurry up and sign the paper work before they change their mind!

  22. Very good trade, hell you can get a vette anywhere. About the hair thing,go out and get you a brief case and one of those Ward Cleaver smokin pipes and you'll be fine>>>>.

You DEFINITELY made the right move with the trade. With the engine and chassis work that has been done your ahead of the curve making it into a reliable daily. Keep the tank full of that $4/gal go juice, you'll be looking for an excuse to take a drive.:)
