Hello everyone, I'm new here and not sure that I have the right forum because I have a question or two. I'm going to put a straight axle into a 1956 Chev. 210 2d stationwagon. I'm going to give it the gasser look from the 60's. I've never done a straight axle before. I 've spoken to alot of folks about the installation and I think I understand it. I'm wondering if anyone has ever done this before, do they have any advice or things to watch out for. Are there books available re. this. Many thanks for any help. Nick D.
welcome, do a search there is alot of info on that stuff here. SHAKEYPUDDIN did a great tech article on his 55 look for it.
