Bob has been cuttin' and weldin' for over a year on this rod and today it saw the sunlight for the first time.

Here are some construction photos from last winter. Bob did all the work himself including chopping the top, modifing the frame, suiciding the doors, making the headers and more. You guys know how much work goes into a project like this.

  6. Coolio truck!

I respect the opinions of others, and in turn, expect the same treatment.

Having said that......I love seeing other fenderless truck cabs on heavily massaged frames with "outside the box" hot rod treatments. The Hup grill is soooooo cool!

Thanks for the ideas and inspiration. I'll be building one of these "bobbers" as soon as I get my full-fendered 46 on the road!

Absolutely love the split rear window and the grille! Pop out front window is pretty fool too.

    Nice back windows.

Maybe shorten the grill to the top of the crank hole and add a "chin" to it like on a '40 Ford Deluxe?

I don't know, for some reason I can't get down with that grille but the rest of the truck is SICK. Love the rear windows!

Damn, and this look so much like what i'm building right now.........including a 401 nailhead... even down to the chop, and the bed. Might change my rear window now though............and my grill is by way of a Goodman air conditioning unit. AAAAAAHHHAAHHAAHH...This has definately fixed the motivation problem I have had to get out in the shop and work on my shit for a change..........fuck the customer's until I get it finished....

I love where you are going with it, especially the back window(s) any thoughts on sectioning the grille?
