First I want to publicly thank 3WLarry for these ... :)

They are NOS 1932 3W door handles. He bought them for his 32 3W and ended up using 34's because 34's have a internal locking mechanism ( 32's do not ) . He was cleaning up his shop and sent them to me ... FREE ...

    Thanks Larry ...

    Good KARMA to Larry ...

And thanks to Bob Kennedy of Whittier California. He is the father of the Kennedy Brothers ... car builders. He is a well known woodgrainer and he did my 32 3W dash and all the garnish moldings and trim.

To say I am a happy guy would be a understatement.
The 32 3W has been a long, slow process ... but progress is being made ... hopefully it will not be much longer :D

Glad to see Bob is still doing the wood grain stuff & it's just as nice as what he did on my 48 merc dash over 30 yrs ago & your coupe looks great too. They do look good with a wood grained dash & garnish. Now I need the dash on my 42 merc convert. done, so we shall see what he will do.

The dash is gorgeous, can't wait to see the car. You've waited a long time for it, I am sure it is going to be breathtaking.

Thanks for the update on your 3 window. Always nice to get parts from friends, both old and new, makes you think about them, ands makes the car that much more special.

3WLarry is tops in my book. Hooked me up with a set of fake whitewall tires through a relay in the past. Even though they were garbage, getting to BS with him was awesome.

Also, that dash is awesome looking! I like the design as well.

Larry is the man! What kinda paint is on your ride? Looks like single stage enamel. Cool dash.

Bob Kennedy has also been the guy that does the woodgrain on some of the antique Wurlitzer jukeboxes I restore. He is a real craftsman. Mike

  15. The dash looks great man. I love it. Super cool of Roller to send those handles too. That made affording the woodgrain a little easier for sure.

I was lucky enough to have Randy stop by my booth at Louyville for a visit. What a nice man. Thanks for stopping.

  20. WOW!! The 3W is going to be a knockout, it's looking very, very nice, Randy. Will your wife let you drive HER car when it's done? :D The woodgraining is perfection too. Neat way to put some class in the interior, with the original look. Can't wait to see the pics of it all done, especially on the Pacific Coast Highway next June. What are your plans for the rest of the interior?

I traded 3W Larry out of some Tail Wheel lock handles from a P-51 mustang that were impossible to find. Awesome guy
