Sorry I missed it. I saw the clouds and then the rain came down. I figured if I showed up you guys would have hung me for bringing the rain. I stayed home and painted my roadster frame instead. Now Dave will have plenty to do tomorrow!

Thanks for the pics! We just got back from E-Town ourselves.

 

I spoke with the owner for a little,to see it in person is a treat.Flawless throughout.He had alot of documentation of the car through its history.It was a x-gasser that was crashed at e-town and took a big shot to the r/r quarter and roof.The replacement was well done indeed.Real nice guy,his wife also.

 

Nitro, do you have a website with all your show pictures?

 

Did you happen to see a Blue '63 Tempest with a White top do any runs?...

It was like a carbon copy of last year, only like a half hour to an hour longer before the rain fell!

Oh well...try again next year...

you shore did,this is fellow HAMBr gaspumpers car,he also has a little red roadster that is pretty bad ass

 

I know the Red one .. Frank lives around 5 miles from me ...

 

I couldn't go because wife was in bad shape, but heard that family and friends would be there running the Flatdog altered.
Was it there? Did it run?

 

bruce - AB made 1 pass, a time shot, took a little too much of the last yellow (red lighted by .005)was as hooked as he would like, will figure it out after he gets home from the mecca (b'ville) in time for the jalopy showdown drags at the beave on 10/4 - was good to visit with flat dogs family again, they be at beaver springs with the altered and the coupe - BIG JOHN

 

Sorry I missed that one....hope to make it up in '09 however.

i had an incedent with my dog had to wait for the vet to open, talk to them, by the time we got ready it was looking real ugly and the rain came soon enough. didnt make it. i remember the 54ish ford from carson brothers trucking from my first time i went to the old time drags with my dad, it aint pretty but its sure is fun to watch. nice pics. anyone going to the e-town cruise night tuesday night?
