Current daily driver is my '41 Ford Pickup. Sure needs a lot of work to make it "right," but soldiers on pretty reliably. Pretty good at dragging stuff to and fro, also.

Plans call for removing the tandem axles for a single axle, and installing a ramp bed to be able to transport vehicles to/from the shop.

Forgot to add mine here. 66 F100 (65grille), 352 3 on the tree. Rusty hood and tailgate but it gets the job done!

9ft box? Are you sure that is not the standard 8ft.? If that has a 9ft box, that would be the first that I ever heard of on a Champ. I have 2 long bed Champs, one with the flat side bed and the other with the stepside. As far as I know, the long bed champs only came with 1 wheelbase length for the 8ft beds and no 9ft bed option. Not trying to push your buttons, just very curious. Nice looking truck regardless and looks in very nice shape too.

It's a modern, but you can't beat these for carrying capacity and mileage!

I put 200k on them, then get another. Never let me down!

When I'm done I'll be hauling parts with a 64 F100, but for now it's only hauling it's own parts.

  24. My new parts runner/beater truck - Chevy C-10 long stepside, 250 3-speed, heater, radio. That's it. A basic truck. My kid wants it now - go figure!

Going to definitely lose the aluminum wheels and put some bigger tires on it! Red steelies with baby moons, and maybe a flame job! I've never painted flames on anything - this might just be the guinea pig!
