Current daily driver is my '41 Ford Pickup. Sure needs a lot of work to make it "right," but soldiers on pretty reliably. Pretty good at dragging stuff to and fro, also.
My old shop truck..... Here is the new one, soon to get a 54 roof transplant with the 1 piece windshield, possible chop, and definitely dropped....waiting patiently while I finish my 55 Chevy gasser project.
Sorry man, that came accross harsher than I meant. It's just a comment. Besides I ain't no kinda Cop. There's sure some kool trucks on this thread.
Im driving a 96 dodge van, but looking for an old truck project to be my first hot rod project/yacht repair service truck. Its awesome to see all you guys who have it going on.
Picking this up next month Plans call for removing the tandem axles for a single axle, and installing a ramp bed to be able to transport vehicles to/from the shop.
Forgot to add mine here. 66 F100 (65grille), 352 3 on the tree. Rusty hood and tailgate but it gets the job done! 48 Poncho
Nice truck. You inspired me for this weeks Art Post. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=255063
9ft box? Are you sure that is not the standard 8ft.? If that has a 9ft box, that would be the first that I ever heard of on a Champ. I have 2 long bed Champs, one with the flat side bed and the other with the stepside. As far as I know, the long bed champs only came with 1 wheelbase length for the 8ft beds and no 9ft bed option. Not trying to push your buttons, just very curious. Nice looking truck regardless and looks in very nice shape too.
It's a modern, but you can't beat these for carrying capacity and mileage! I put 200k on them, then get another. Never let me down!
My new parts runner/beater truck - Chevy C-10 long stepside, 250 3-speed, heater, radio. That's it. A basic truck. My kid wants it now - go figure! Going to definitely lose the aluminum wheels and put some bigger tires on it! Red steelies with baby moons, and maybe a flame job! I've never painted flames on anything - this might just be the guinea pig!
97 F-350 4x4 - 90 F-250 4x4 - 85 bronco 4x4 and my 46 international dump truck for the REALY big stuff.
