what you need to look or is a die for cutting vinyl or some other masking media. then you could use acid or fine sand to etch. just what you need... more work.
my wife is so good at cleaning..i have lost mine..sucks because i wanted one for the 53 and one for my 28..so next time i re-up all i will have is one remaining..i wanted the first one for the 53 because it was finished (kinda) when the year of that tag was stamped..and im hoping the Tudor will be done in the year the new one will be stamped.. all in all its my fault..i should have tucked it away where it would not have been laying out..it was in the original pack, and i think she thought it was junk mail
i think the "tag year" starts around july 6th annually. so when you renew, some time between 3-2008 and 3-2009 judging by your join date, you should get this "tag year's" color which is black. there's one renewal i should get the assist on.
Actually, tag years start on January 1. If you get your membership on Dec 30, 2007 - you get a 2007 tag. Black/Red/Black/Red/etc...
