Cool car man, My dad runs a blown sbc in a 135in wb dragster on alky. It would be nice to get together and run a the old A-Fuel class (blown alky or inj. Fuel)
My dads down for it, but will have to wait till spring, because he had his back cut on by the dock and he said to go slow for awhile. I think that ment no racing?????

Thanks guys. RC, sorry to hear about your Dad's back deal. We went to Tulsa a couple weeks ago , didn't have the car with us but were a lot of FED's and Hamb cars. Tx was always a hotbed of FED's. That would be cool if we could hook up and run somewhere. Denton is an eighth mi track right? Brad Green will be there the 19th of Aug with his nost top fuel car sorting it out. Tell your dad we wish him well!! Got any pics of his car? Lippy:D

Thanks Tony, My brother built the engine, he's been into nitro and hemi's since the late 60's off and on. We are running a P/G trans because of funds right now. It should 60 ft well if I can hang on to it!!!:D If it will run high 6's I'll be happy as heck!! Is everyone here from Texas? LOL. Lippy

  20. No, there are some of us from Georgia too. Am I seeing spacers on the rear hats? One looks thicker that the other.
PM me with the details...I need to do the same on my fiat Comp Coupe

Damn! That thing is bitchin'. Beautiful construction & bodywork.

When I used to be on the circuit (business not racing) I loved the A/F car that Melanie Troxel's dad ran. Injected fueler that sounded and ran like a freight train.

Any of you guys have some pics and storys on that team (can't remember his partner's name right now)?

Thanks Dino, I think it will be unique. Thats what we were after. I believe the car is truly nostalgic. Old chassis, iron hemi ect. Next year it gets a clutch and floater rear. I have another project I need to get done also. Hehehe.:D [IMG]

  27. Texas,,, Where the hell is Texas??? Just kidding! That is one sleek looking ride you are building. As stated before, bring her down to Joplin, even if on the trailer and fire it up Friday night at the Ramada(or what ever it is called now) that would be a crowd pleaser!!!!!! At least I would be pleased!!!!

Keep posting your progress here on the HAMB!!!!!!!!!!

That car is simply beautiful. Nothing like a new ride to break in. Be sure to post when you get a chance to run it.
