Bottom line, guys, it helps to know people in low places.

For the last couple of days, we had received tips that the car was still on the trailer, untouched. As of 10 a.m. today, the informant called and said he had seen the car, the theives were spending the weekend in jail (ha ha ha) so it would be a good time to recover it while they were incapacitated. The location of the car was given, and myself and a Tulsa Police officer went and checked it out. By God it was there!!

It was in an abandoned building covered with mattresses, a tarp and they had bolted plywood around the trailer. The car and trailer is all that was there, everything else was missing. After some red tape with Tulsa detectives and a call to Cowboy Bob, the car was released to me.
Basically, we stole the car back (ha ha ha ha)

The Okies came through along with Tulsa Police and Cowboy Bob will get his car back!! The informant decided he didn't want the reward money. End of story.

Just talked to Bob and he is thrilled as you can well imagine. He said to give a big thanks to everyone for the help and concern. He said he is trying to get signed on to the Hamb so he can thank everyone in person, but his computer skills aren't worth a shit(his words). The power of the Hamb is awesome.

ted, your from that area....if the atv thing is so big there, why doesnt [or do they] setup sting ops on these assholes and bringem all down>???? just wondering....prolly the whole "BIGGER FISH TO FRY FOR THERE BUDGET" like most citys...sad that the folks that protect are so underfunded for things of this nature!

I live in Tulsa and I would like to see the skidmarks that stole Bobs ride strung up by the balls. But the soft ass judges here will have him back on the street stealing cars again in no time flat. Now its different with a real criminal like me,they caught me carrying the front wheels on one of my old rides and They nail me with careless and reckless driving and were talking about me going away for two years. I guess they gotta make an example out of us lowlife types,go figure...

Breeder I cant agree as then someone would be in Jail for murder over a car - incediblily smart! All the tough talk on this site when something like this happens adds NO value and may be even be trouble should someone take that tack........

Posts about solving these issues properly DO add value and Im stoked this car was recovered.
