Here's what a guy that is too out of control to know he shouldn't be doing a burnout leaving the host hotel parking lot can do to his street rod. I didn't see it happen but saw the damage and was hoping it wasn't caused by an idiot doing a burnout but I was wrong. The guy apparently lost control and hit a tree. Be safe not stupid out there guys.

  3. He found the missing back wheel..where did the front one go? Along with the suspension? And all the fiberglass?

He screwed up his nice car. I've ruined a few in my days being a dummy, but none were worth much.

there was a story a while back here in the bay area about a 40 something guy who did a burnout in his Dodge Charger (I think.. mopar muscle car either way) with 2 teenage kids in the car. he hit a pole and died. I believe one of the kids was his.

on a positive note.. maybe this numbnut will leave our hobby and go back to doing what he did before.

    Yeah...me too.

Like if the axle came out before or during the crash.

Looks like the splines are still on the end...

maybe it was because he had the big tires in the front and small ones on the rear?

his wife probably beat him up with his own fanny pack after that!:D

But seriously, burnouts at car shows and on public roads where there are pedestrians and other cars is DANGEROUS!!

Example... about 3/4 years ago at the Mooneyes Christmas Show (at the police academy) their was a guy who was cruising the main street in his 1950 chevy panel car and decided to hit the gas and burn out.... well he A) either lost control
    B) throttle got stuck
well, he lost control and slammed into a parked (on the street) PT Cruiser with custom paint and pinstriping! he smashed his front fender and grill and worst of all..... EVERYONE at the carshow either HEARD it or saw it cause just about EVERYONE was looking in his direction after it. i had a front row seat to the whole thing!! the guys poor kid was sunk into his seat embarrassed as hell:eek:!! if i remember correct i think the blame was on a stuck throttle:rolleyes:

just lucky no one was close by to get hurt!

  16. Damn, poor guy, the ball mill lines on his billit breather, no longer line up with the ball mill lines on his billit covers.

  17. ....... and I actually went back to check out the picture to see if its true !!:D

    I like burnouts.

I also think that there is a time and a place for everything and that was not the time nor the place...

I hate street burnouts. They're not impressive at all. A car that hooks is what's cool. I dont even like across the starting line burnouts at the track.. (unless your talking about a 7 sec or faster car)
