Definitely looks good. Looks like you used alot of the C-pillar rather than making a new piece. How'd that work out?

I did the same thing when i cut my 49 and it was too easy using the left over piece than to make a new one up. i really dig the chop, cant wait to see more pics of it as you get more of it done!!!!

I had wondered why most used a new piece instead. I thought maybe the shape was that far off that a new piece was easier and better. Looks like not so much. Cool.

Because the more you cut out the less the metal will line up. It will look like two contoured pieces with a serious valley in the middle if it meets at all. On a more mild chop you can try to use a lot of stock metal with small patches. On my Merc which was not radical, it would have been a disaster as the crown is way different, nothing would have lined up.

Looks really well thought out and will have a killer profile. Did you move the straight pillar back or are you leaning them? How did that roof cut at the a pillar work out? Looks like less of a valley than when people make the \ / cuts in either end. Very cool!

that worked out good because we moved the back window forward about 4 1/2 inches we only had to put like a 3" wide triangle in there and in the end it really only needed a scim coat of mud.

Nice, I like those proportions. I like how a sedan looks chopped when the rear window is moved forward, it makes it look more like a coupe.

Really? That much? I see the 4 1/2 in the front but it looks like less in the rear. Where did you measure from? Or was it cut til it looks right?

Basically it was originally cut at 5 1/2 in the rear but was moved around till it looked right and I guesstimate 6" in the c pillar.
