DFW swap meet

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by 325w, Jun 28, 2008.

  1. Found a near perfect pair of 32 Ford running boards at DFW swap meet today. Someone bought up all the Ford 16's however....

Picked up 3 decent wide-5 wheels for Elrod, and some cheap stuff off the tool guy.

Some creepy dude was following me around on the way there...turns out it was just another HAMBer, haha.

    Nice meeting you Willie!

Only thing I picked up today was come cash. With no other income right now I'm in the selling mode!

  5. There was a glass road duster on atrailer with most everything but a drive train for 15,500. He had some 32 headlights but wanted to sell everything as a unit.

Found a nice Eelco tank, Hurst motor mount and set of valve covers.

Does anyone know who has the shop down the street from LaGrave field? Saw a nice chopped ride and Seymour's glasstop sitting outside of it.

    That's probably Frank Palmer.

  9. Well it sucked for me this time. There didnt seem to be anybody willing to deal on anything. The 55 hardtop with the rotted through rockers and floor braces for $30,000 was funny though....

Saw a few things I wanted, but prices were steep this year and I didn't buy anything.
