Ordered my stuff from socal la but i cant get ahold of JimA for a little technical assistance. So, question is... Im getting the P&J rear ladder bars from them along with the '32 style k member for a model a and i need to know what size heim to run in the front. Need this info asap since i need to put an order into speedway tonite so i can get the stuff for the weekend. So if anyone has ran this set up.. let me know!!!

And to get rid of any confusion..

I think the P&J kit comes with their rod ends with bushings for the front.

why do you want to run heims? You would also need spacers on each side of the heims.

they dont come with heims, thats why the front brackets are spaced far apart.mine are 46 1/2 long from rear to front bushing.did you do your homework before you welded that trans crossmember? filthy frank.

The photo you posted points out one of several complaints I had with my SoCal chassis - why do they bother providing a drop-out trans mount when you still can't remove the tranny from below because of the crossmember for the rear bars? Why couldn't they have gone over the trans instead of under it?

Question... if you're not ordering from JimA why not order from Vaphead Eric (Riley Automotive), also an Alliance member.
