whew.

I just got off the phone with my fiancee' Nicole. And we have good news.

They took her totally off the venalator so she is breathing entirely on her own now.

They removed a monitor so she is connected by a little less to the machines... looking more and more like the baby I love.

They are talking about trying to bottle feed her tomorrow. Nicole says that Julibelle is making the sucky face that says she wants to eat.

Her biliruben count is still high, but down from yesterday. So hopefully Wednesday she will be off of the photo lights and not wearing the mask to protect her eyes.

Oh.... and she finally POOPED! Her very first poopie!!!!!!

This is the best news I've had in a few days and it comes 12 hours after I asked you all to put us in your prayers.

I dont think so.

I cant express how much all of your thoughts and prayers mean to Nicole and I. This is the first time I really felt like smiling in a few days.

damn mikey, first ive seen of this bro! you know the REEDS are prayin for ya! have been since you told me nicole was pregnant! i have a buddy whos daughter was born kinna the same way...only her stomich didnt close and here insides were outside! vary damn scary!!! however, now shes 13, and perfect in everyway! im sure with faith and hope, your lil mikey will be just fine!
