I can't remeber if I have posted to this thread or not, I'm drunk right now, thank you Sailor Jerry, but I would have to say Ed Iskenderian's '24 roadster.

Way too hard to narrow it down to one. At different points of my life I have been affected by many different hot rods.

    Dennis Kyle's 32
    Doane Spencer' 32
    Roth's Mysterion
    Doyle Gammels 32 Coupe
    Milners 32
Prufers 29's His black cherry one from the 70's was awesome
    Little Johns - White 29
The list could go on for ever, Jim Jacobs 34, Pete's 34, Magoos long string of 29's, Chris and Randy's 34 - 5 window, Spurlocks 32, Anything Morty has, ect , ect ,ect.
Hell, after reading everything I could for almost 50 years and going too many , many events , I have been moved by many cars.

The list could go on into infinity

Chuck never did have very good taste in cars. Not one of the ones he mentioned had flame-throwers.

  5. looks like you did some reading, I had alot of seat time in Porter's 32, I think he did more and drove it as his every day car. I brought this up because it was my all time favorite Hot Rod ever. I think Bob would still own it if hadn't made a fatal mistake.
Bob had it rechopped, the door gaps fixed (we used to watch traffic lights thru the door gaps) and the roof refilled by Markham & Boling in pasadena.

  6. The Bill Niekamp Roadster is one of my favorites. So many mods, but it just looks so simple.

    Larry's duece needs mentioning....

  12. This one! Why? Because I learned to drive in it, I drove it to high school, it won class at the Winternats 6 times, and I took my wife on our first date in it.

You might notice a certain candy red Corvette getting a hole shot put on it in the background.

Ivo's T. What's not to like? Fuel injected Buick power. Dutch pinstripes. Eleven seconds in the quarter. Cool.

The Ivo car is way up high on the list, no doubt. Who did the bucket first, Tommy or Norm? They're both high on the list, but the top one would be the first one. The Ivo car still exists in pristeen condition.

Supposedly Norm was the "first" and Ivo came over with a tape measure to get the dimensions for his correct. I always felt Ivo's came out better... Well, the Nailhead probably had something to do with that too.

It's kinda funny... Without that car, I wonder if I would've loved nailheads so much?

RC I met your Dad at this show and he was very humble about his car. Seemed liked a great guy who knows exactly what needs to be done. Beautiful car.

    A black, flamed, blown '32.
I'm with Larry on this one. Tom McMullen's car was featured on a '60's vinyl album cover. At the time it had an SBC and a 4-71 roots blower, and Roth's paint if I recall correctly. The car was set up to run and looked great.

Yeah I have to agree. I was taken back the second i saw this car. Still can't find much with this level of detail and craftsmanship.

Ivo's car was second. He did talk about measuring Norm's car for his. With Ivo's attention to detail, his car ended up very nice. I will say, Norm's car in the early days (black w/blower) was hot! Von Franco did a fine, famous job of re-creating that one.

I've had the opportunity to meet both Ivo and Norm and both are great guys that built awesome cars.

Hey, thanks for the video link. That old 50's footage is unreal. Did Franco put the film together?
