I need a measurement for the inside of the car from the inside b-pillar to the other b-pillar. I guess, would someone please tell me how far it is from both of the rubber door stops across the top and the bottom. Thank you. My car has little wood structure and I am building bracing. I just need to know how wide the inside should be. My car is a 5 window, but I do not think or care if it is not. I just need a good starting point.

    No probs.
I've read a number of posts here from guys with 33 Chevs. Surely one of them will read this and help you.
Hey... How quickly do you need this measurement?
I just remembered a guy who has either a 32 or 33 Chev not far from here.
I can give him a visit but not until Monday.

If you're building your own frame it doesn't really matter. When I did my 34 olds body I just welded it to a table, pulled the sides out till it looked right. Then I started bracing. Here's how I did mine. Hope this helps.

I have a 4 door sedan - dont know if it will help or not, but it is 50-5/8" across the top of the b pillar from the inside of the wood to the inside of the wood on the other side - so its an actual inside measurement across the top of the doors

My '33 3window is 50 1/2 at center of "upper" rubber bumper (measured at inner face of metal. And, 48 3/4 at "floor level" (4 5/8 below bottom of "lower" rubber bumper) at inner face of metal. Sorry can't measure center of 'lower' rubber bumper, seat is in the way.........
