Too weird. The car is a Willys, innit? Any idea what the story behind this photo is?

    It sure is a Willys!

Wonder if it was stock or if it had been a Gasser??

Looks like he`s on guard duty-keeping those pesky Hambers at bay-LOL

    Pic request:

Saw a cool one on the Hamb awhile back, it's of a guy sitting on the sidewalk of a downtown street next to his rod (a black 40's sedan, if I remember right), eating a taco. Does anyone have it?

Tried finding with the search to no avail.

Made by a Swedish rod shop owner and some friends to run a Nostalgia drag event. Was Flaaty powered.
After the race it donated the engine and sat behind the shop for a while.........one day the winter came.

Gee, I thought maybe the picture would be story enough!

It's pretty simple... Ray Farhner, builder of the Boothill Express, is in the driver's seat. I helped Farhner when he was promoting car shows back in the 60's and I also had a booth painting "monster shirts" in all the shows. This was a prop I made to sit in my booth and attract attention (do you think it worked?). So after the Tulsa show, as we were loading the car, I thought it would be funny to stage this photo and Ray went along with it. Too bad his arm was missing.

Damn! Somebody pulled out the Boot Hill Express. My uncle had this model when I was a kid (early 70's) and I thought it was the coolest (next to my Creature from The Black Lagoon).
    That picture is bad ass!
