I just called and asked for some stuff. He'll call back. I'm sure of it. I just found a source for our shop that I've been looking for. The HAMB simply rules.

  7. He'll have most of it. There is a Studebaker building toward the back.

I walked in with a turn signal switch out of a Swapmeet column I couldn't identify. He looked at the switch and said 54 Chevy as we were walking to the box with several brand new ones.

I bought a NOS gas cap for my A and got to choose from about 20 in the box.

    I'll miss walking through there.

I know you'll miss it cause thats where you went when you had your shakedown run in your A truck.

I remember that day cause it was a stop on the shop crawl when the first SHOP RAG magazine came out. Stacey also informed us he has some off premise storage that is also full of parts that he has not sorted through yet.

He definately has anything you need.

I've been buying from him for over 30 years. First heard of Stacy in 1976. Bought an NOS 36 Ford grill (not a re-pop) from him for $100 back then. He has anything you need for old cars and trucks. Not all is NOS but nearly all of it is new.

At least I know what the guy looks like now.

And yes he did have a NOS trunk moulding for my 71 LTD, it was just bent.

Seems like a cool guy, and he will call you back.

That's amazing. What a guy!! What a mind!! I'd sure like to buy something from the dude, and say I got that from the Antique Auto Supply in Texas. Looks like one of the employees, John, built the website, maybe he'll take the reigns someday. Thanks for the post, it is the best this year.

Update. You know this guys the real deal. Hes a true blue American. When guys and places like his disapear, we loose. We [rodders] should do our part to encourage and support places like this. There is no substitution for this kind of knowledge or customer service. You think Autozone or Pepboys will ever give a RATS like Stacy does? This guy and his store...priceless.
