The one and only world famous HAMBANDY is in town and we're planning on going to tonight's cruise night in Santa Clara. It's behind the Boston Market at 2006 El Camino at the corner of El Camino and Scott. If you would like to meet Andy and his dad Chris, this would be a great opportunity. The show runs from 4-8 and we'll probably get there around 6:30.

Last night, I had the opportunity to hang out with Andy and his Dad. I met them for dinner and afterwards I brought them to the Tank shop and museum I work for. It was great to finally meet him.. You quickly get the feeling that he has an intense interest in all things mechanical, cars, planes, tanks. If it's got an engine. Andy would like to see it.

So, I know this is a bit of a late notice. But if you are in the area and free tonight, Andy would love to meet you!

Hope to see you there DAVE

I'd like to be there, I get off work @ 5-6 depending on how many Truck loads I have running, but I work in Brentwood and live in San Jose, so basically I would be driving in while everybody is driving out or already gone. Just my luck. The Trucking Business Sucks.

You really won't meet nicer people than either Andy or Chris!

Dave...I'm not sure if they're in contact with the "home team" on a daily basis...so tell Andy that Bill and Fitzee were working on the A last night and the front axle assembly is now mounted for test fit purposes and we have the steering box mounting figured out as well. Gonna work great!!!

Tomorrow night...the engine should get fitted! Things are on the move! ;)

One more thing...don't get TOO attached to Andy...WE want him back! Hahaha

    What about Chris?
Well...if you really want him I guess its OK...but Andy we want back! :D

You will really be impressed by Andy. A true and true Hot Rod kid who as Dave said has a passion for anything mechanical.

As Bill said, your welcome to Chris..........but Andy is ours so send him back ASAP!

Thank you Dave for taking the time to give Andy the tour, im sure we will hear all about it. And as well for trying to get the local HAMB'rs together to meet the legend of Andy Dunn.

Sorry to say that work kept me away from the build last nite......

I was there for about a hour or so with my wagon & my son. I could have been standing next to them for all I know. It's not like they were signing autographs at a table.

We got a bit of a late start. By the time we got there the cars had thinned out a bit, but there was still some great stuff.. Andy got to sit in a sweet 32, we talked to the owner for a bit. It was for sure worth the trip.

After the show, we brought Andy by my parent's house, where I gave him a ride in a Testarossa.. It's no Model A with a flattie, but it does make some sexy noises merging onto the freeway.

This evening we're hoping to hook up with Steve Sellers, I'll post more pictures later.. DAVE

Thanks for the pictures! Im sure being around HAMB'rs and getting to share thoughts and opinions on cars is just what Andy needs to keep that fighting drive alive!!!! As for the Testarossa.....................hot damn, who wouldnt wanna wheel around in a fine italian work of art like that!!!!

Ok Dave............now were waiting for the other pictures;)
