I found two more pictures of that car from my hard drive. I think it's awesome, sure like to see it in its former glory though, or redone in a fitting style.

That was my first thought, too. Either that, or perhaps they were thinking hot tub in the back.

I'm diggin' the yellow '74 Laguna/Malibu in the back ground with the Cragars. That deserves two thumbs up from the Fonz!

its kinda cool in a way.

Ill bet it was a 4 door that they chopped and moved the roof forward. I have seen two tri 5 chevies before with a similar chop..

  10. I think the front clip has potential, but the roof looks out of proportion.

that was on Ebay a while back...i also remember it from one of my old magazines, can't remember which though...thats a corvette roof on it to go along with the corvette taillights, if i remember correctly....i like it, but the 60's over the top show car look is my favorite....

Dunno about the vette roof. It looks like a Buick roof to me.

    All hail Rikster!

I like the '57 olds front end better than the original version. The roof line is weird, and the fender openings could use a little more shape....but it's still pretty cool!

WOW! I like it even better with the old picture. it's one of those deals where no one would build one like that today... but since they did it back in the day it suddenly becomes way more cool.

  18. It does look better in the photos, but I still think the top is too small.

holy shit, that's nuts. wonder how/why it went to shit. looks like it was completely done at one point, and now looks somewhat parted out. someone for sure got the grille and headlights out of it at some point, not to mention the wheels.

I dig this one: chunky, low, extreme proportions. Would like to see a more rounded-down quarter to harmonize with the roof (which I love) and maybe a few other tweaks, but the proportions are wacky-cool.

I just found two new-OLD photos of this custom. I had them on my site all the time... but they where in a private photo colection album of he Dick FUZZY Fuerholzer with four photos in one scan and at the time I uploaded them a year or so ago I probably did not have the time to seperate them and look at them good enough... In any event here are two nice photos of the car at an 1960 outdoor show...

    Hey,

Man, whata great "show car" kustom!

You'd have to be built like a bridge trole to drive it , though!

    Uncle Rikster comes through again!!

  29. That is hard core, angel hair at an outdoor show...love it! Thanx Rik.-MIKE:eek::D

  30. Not a 'vette roof, way too wide...but that was my first thought. Probably the back of a '56 or '57 4 door hard top. Angle hair on the grass shows these folks were hard core.
Can pretty well figure out the who and the when, but any info as to where it was built?
