Terribly sorry to make another thread on this subject, but my father is EXTREMELY determined to find out who built Jon Favreau's 32 flat head roadster that appears in IRON MAN?

Any input/help is much appreciated! :)

    Thanks guys/gals.

    Henry Ford...???

That or sand, heat, and chemical resin....

  5. He was on Leno last night (after Jimmy Carter).

I forget what he said about who did the work, but it's NOT a prop car- that's his personal ride (there's a couple of threads about the car here already). I do remember him being fired up that the interior "needed to be redone" for the movie:D.

According to Leno's page on nbc.com, it was Jon Favreau. Or at least that's the other guest listed with Carter.

It looks pretty much like a 1-800 car to me, lot's of bolt on stuff. I don't like the flat firewall.

When you have seen so many belly button roadsters I think the fire wall is pretty bitchen , it makes it uniqe.

  16. Are my eyes decieving me... or does the top of the grill shell not line up with the cowl... like on the "milner" coupe? If so... gag me with a grease rag. Firewall is funky... I kinda like it.

  17. you guys are haters. the guy built or had a car built in a somewhat traditional style. and all your doing is downing him. that's a bummer.

  18. Why you gotta be hatin' on Jon Favreau?

He's so fucking money and you don't even know it!

    Cool car....

I'd drive it and grin from ear to ear. Now that the resident nit pickers have had their say.

Just saw the movie last night. I really liked it and the car was great. I was surprised at how much visibility the car got throughout the show--in the background, computer screen saver, etc. Too bad it didn't share in some of the driving scenes.
