Where is the VIN located on a 64 Lincoln?

Can anyone tell me where to look for the VIN number on a 64 Lincoln Continental 4 door convertible?

Door opening on drivers door by hinges.

 

Actually its located on the inner fender on the drivers side I believe. I had to verify mine before I sold it to a guy in California. I think it is down near the frame rail and very difficult to see if I remember correctly. I sold the car 6 years ago so I dont remember exactly where it is.
