We got Reverend Jakes car put back together, Mama Rash's car is back together and Bulletproof has his back together.

Haven't heard from the Monkey..

still got a ton of shit to do to the car before we leave friday , but we're gonna make it!

 

Really want to be flying "open cockpit" this year. Forcast has improved for Saturday but still have rain in the forcast for Sunday. Maybe it will keep getting pushed back.

We will be there for sure. May just let Terry take the daily and drive the T regardless. She wouldn't be happy if she got wet or cold.

We will be rolling out early Sat morning. Should hit Dewey around 10:30 am.

Me and Momma Gozt are planning on taking the daily up that way. Sucks that I'm not going to be able to make it with the RPU. I'm still thrashing to get that old girl back on the road.

I'll be there, pinstriping brushes in hand. I'd probably rather not be working the show and just hanging out, but, hey, I'm a whore Don't know if I'll bring the truck or not, got a starter wire problem. Easy fix, but I just haven't had any time. Flamed striped and airbrushed a truck the other day all in one day, 15 hrs non stop (didn't even stop to eat, just munched with one hand while I painted with the other) plus 1hr drive each way to get to the job. Thats how my life has been going lately, not much time or energy left for other stuff. So don't rag on me too much for letting a simple fix keep my rod from being there

Is there a preferred hotel or someplace to stay there? And.... is it too late to reserve a room? Me and Momma Gozt are contemplatin' and wanting to see/make sure we can plan on crashing up there if the need arises.

We got us a room there at the BW in B-ville. We be ready to head up that way Saturday, and then cruise on back come Sunday.

We got a few from central Arkansas coming. Arkiehotrods usually drives his 56 Nomad, but it has a loose pinion he might not be able to fix before we leave on Friday am. Two other guys have been thrashing to get a Model A sedan done, but didn't make it and decided to stay home to try to get it done for the Power Tour. I am coming family style in the Mrs.' van since I don't have my Chevy road worthy. Mostly, we are all just a pile of gawkers this year. We do have one bringing his 68 Dodge wagon.....my old daily. Funny, the only local making the trip is the one I don't own anymore. LOL

I'm coming over after work tomorrow. If we're gonna do it, it better be tomorrow.

got thje new WW shoes on the "box" yesterday, new plugs and belts , took her out fer a test run last night , ready to go !

 

Weather is looking good.

 

The best I'm gonna do is ride shotgun in the boy-o's '52, but still lookin' forward to a great weekend.
