just curious if anyone has pics of full fendered chopped and chenneled 30's era trucks....I have seen some on here before but can't find them now...show me what you got...34
I know how you feel, but thats what I was looking for.....what are the concerns with clearance of the fenders and the body??/...any?
My buddies black primered '34 rode on 16" john deere green kelseys with cycle tires up front. Wasn't channeled but it was chopped 6" and the bed was shortened, looked great. Sat LOW. Looked like a Lance Sorchick drawing. There was the ever present burnt primer patches on the tops of the front fenders. I need to recover some pics of it....
I know this post has been long dead, but I'm actually looking for the same thing and figured I'd use the search function and revive this post. I see so many 30's pick ups that are chopped and fenderless. I'm pretty sure I'll be running fenders on my 37', but i'd like to do a mild chop job on it as well as drop it a little lower. Anybody got any pics of full fendered chopped mid to late 30's trucks? Just wondering if theres a reason why I don't see it done that much! THANKS! lackluster
Anybody? For all the flack us truck guys get for running fenderless, I would think that there are trucks out there running fenders, but with some body mods.
This is an old pic of my chopped and channeled 36 when I first got it years ago. It had a 34 commercial shell (since stolen..damn it) But I plan to replace it with a sectioned 36 shell. I have not seen many full fendered, channeled mid to late 30's pickups, I got really lucky when I stumbled across this one. This will be the next one I start on...but then I get distracted easy.
NO! They are RIGHT! Straight laced Daytons are cool. First set I saw was on a new candy red '63 Vette I prefer them in all chrome though, without the gold, or in all gold, one or the other.
