Earthquake!

Any of ya'll feel the earthquake this morning about 4:30 am Central time? 5.4 on the scale near West Salem, IL

 

I felt it up here in Indy.

 

I think that was just Plowboy getting that HEMI fired up.....

naw- it was prolly him tripping over his dog and spilling his beer.

 

Dude...It shook really good here this morning at 4:36 am. It was centered about 20 miles south of us in West Salem IL. The quake was 3.1 miles deep and a 5.4 on the scale...Woke my butt up, and knocked a few things off the shelf in the hall closet, and really rattled the pictures on the walls

didnt feel a thing up here.
But than again i sleep like a rock

 

The earth hasn't moved at night up here in quite a while....

looks like the mid west got some california love this morning.

 

Yes, we felt it here on the west side of Indy. The dog freaked out and my daughter came running in and jumped in bed with us. Pretty weird! I hear they have some minor damage reported in louisville.

 

Anyone have quake insurance??? Not me.

 

yep! rattled the lamp!

 

Very little damage here in Olney...mostly pictures falling off the walls.
Will find out more when I get to work this morning....Construction Business....

 

i didnt feel a thing as im on a towboat between evansville and louisville but folks have been talking about all morning , so far the reports are no one injured..

Yep, shook the house pretty good. That was the first time I'd ever felt one of those; pretty wild.

 

It was felt up here in Kenosha, Wi. Or was that my wife just trying to get me to stop snoring??.

 

My dog was barking and got my up ,i thought someone had break in to the house then the thinks start to fall. the dog know it was coming.. I'm just out side of Evansville IN.

 

I live about 100' from 5 sets of train tracks...shit falls off the walls weekly.

 

I didn't feel shit. I was sleeping. I carry earthquake insurance because that New Madrid fault has been way overdue for a "Big One".

I have been in 4 earthquakes and heven't felt any of them.

 

Northern KY checking in here, and yes was mild shaking but enough to scare the kid's and bring the wife running out of the shower..

 

You are gonna feel the next one if you don't let me out of here.

Mr Bones made it to Texas and Detroit but for some reason he was shy and didn't get out of the car.

 

Earthquakes in Illinois? Next your'e gonna tell me it's home to the best little taco joint ever...I'll have to call my dad who lives in Indy and see if he felt anything...sure it was a bunch of hambers firing up for an early morning donut run?
