How come 'search' doesn't like '32' or 'A' 'T' etc

This drives me nuts, it won't recogize the 2 or one digit entries, such as 'model A' or 'model T' or searching years using the last two digits like '32 Ford'. Many threads are started using these short words or numbers. Fill me in.....

I bet it needs at least three characters in the search field or something... but what do I know, this is my first damned post.

It won't find anything for "COE" or "C.O.E." either, so I'm thinking the three or more character thing isn't all there is to it.

I know there's a thread about COE's in here, but just can't seem to find it.

It pulled up a search on a four-character search entry... so there you have it.

There is a section for these types of questions, I wish there was one for What's it worth, so the good stuff doesn't get lost in all the dumb posts.
