Do you know what it going on with Perry? My dad said that his phone has been cut off at the parts house (Gaston Performance). I saw a big Uhaul backed up to the front door about a week ago. I heard that he might be moving to Florida to open a shop and close this one in Belmont. Any big sale planned? thx. E.
Too many of these old yards are being crushed before H.A.M.B.'ers can get much-needed parts, thanks for sharing this information, and I hope others will do the same.
Perry loves his Mopars. I talked to him a couple weeks ago and he said he would be up here at least another year probably. As for his phone, he said he was having trouble with his land line. I got his cell # while there. No worries with the crusher. Said he's keeping the yard even when he moves. Only gonna crush modern cars. He's a car guy, the classics are safe. I'm sure most everything there is for sale. He probably wants an arm and a leg for that 57 Chrysler. That 2X4 on the hemi looks mean!!
Some good 55-56 Dodge stuff there. I wouldn't mind having those Custom Royal taillights, and the headlight doors and grille teeth off of that '56 Mayfair (looks like a Mayfair anyway). I'd be geeking out over those '55 Dodge chrome tailfins if I hadn't just found a set after about 2 years of looking. Did you buy anything while you were there?
Got the drivers door off the 56 DeSoto for a friend's car. Was hoping to find something for my 52 Chrysler but no luck.
