hi, i have the possibility to buy this fuel pushrod, a 8 7/8 inches long. my engine is a mercury flathead 1951 1CM. could you please tell me if it's the good one thanks in advance for your answer Jean Phi
plus on est de "fools", plus on rit! et comme on dit chez nous :au "mois d'april" ne te découvre pas d'un fil, ah ah ah ah!
My fuel pump rod is just a straight shaft, no belled out area on it. Motor is an 8RT but I think that the Merc would be the same.
That looks like the one I took out of my 39 thru 42 Flathead. Not sure if they are universal. Bon chance mon ami!!!
That one fits '32-48 with certain manifolds. Yours is both longer and bigger diameter, straight with no umbrella, ends made of different material than center.
'"flathead pushrod" -- I thought the April fools jokes were starting early' That's what Henry called his lifters!! From the deuce Bible: 18-6500, Rod (push), 30 cents retail, 16 needed...
