I take it you guys are refereing to the 'nothing between his head and the rotor but his cap'. Autogyros fly with the rotor disc tilted back relative to the machine, so that in flight there should be (from looking at it) better than a foot of clearance between the top of his head and the bottom of the rotor disc. Looks like he has plenty of power and that hydraulic pre-rotator must make it nice for short take offs.
they hold up pretty well to abuse to just a bit of a 500-16 stone ribbed front showing under the steering wheel through the salt at bonneville i could be a spokesman for them, they go on every car i do
Your cars rule Justin. You've really got an eye for propotion and stance. I always enjoy seeing your pix.
I would think a car like Denises should be choosen considering not only does she represent HAMB to the fullest but think about how many miles she has actually put on that car driving it cross country & attending just about every major event says something in itself.... You couldnt pick a better car if you really want to make a statement!
Cool thread Ryan. Mine are from Coker except for the rear tires on the 5 window (the front tires are from Coker). Hotrodrubber did the pie crusts on the black 3 window but they originated as a Firestone WWW from Coker.
That looks like the man that designed that particular type of autogyro; Ken Wallis. He was born in 1916 and apparently still flys those things. They used one of his aircraft in the "You only live twice" Bond movie.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ken_Wallis
