Wow...awesome stuff everyone...I've been determined to make something to post on a friday ever since I found this site, but after seeing all the amazing art here this week I'm embarrassed to post my amateur-hour sketch...Anyhow, here it is anyhow... Done on elementary school grade paper with elementary school grade pencils, in an elementary school teacher's lounge during a prep period... Hopefully ya'll can at least recognize the car...

I saw this last nite when it was first posted Buick59...and I thot "oh man, here it comes."

And I have to say you're a bit more restrained in your comeback than I would have been...just becuz you post a photo of a blown Mustang, does not mean your work is out of place here...I love your photos...keep it coming...bad bob doesn't own this "place"...

    Hi Outlaw Bender!
My car looks pretty much as it did ten years ago, but I can always dream can't I! In time I'll do another (drawn) version of it. Stay tuned.

A fun phrase for all those alleged "art critics": "For some people, all their taste is in their mouth!"

    Great pics, Buick!

Thanks, thed3vl. I'll post the finished art as soon as it's done. The shirts should be done by mid-June. The snow here should be gone by then!

Here is one of my favorites, I just got it blown up, 20x30 and put in a frame. I shot it a few years ago but I still love it.

Nice work...good lines - leatherwork like that takes talent.

  16. Bought me a new 'point n press' digital Wednesday to carry round with me, cos I see some stuff out & about & think...If only I had my camera....

Took a ride on Thursday up the local 'biker route' Highway 9....

I'm quite pleased with the result's, not really 'HAMB stuff' per say, but at least my bike's old...looking!

Maybe they are just a couple pieces o metal, but you made them into something much more! Always nice to see new stuff from you Dennis. Good to see you while I was in Wichita too!

Here is what I did last friday...I striped a coll little roadster in Denver owned by Noah the Nomad of the Rumblers...

Monster and tattoo art rules. That's where the real fun and expression is. I dare say that artists like McPhail and Von Franco actually keep hot rodding FUN.

This is what we need MORE of on the art show! Real heavy hitters like Von Franco and McPhail!

Thank you for posting some of your artwork. I for one appreciate it a lot.

1-shot slinger-- nice work on the striping — and nice presentation of your work!

BMK-- dig those photos... e way the light spills out on the floor throughthe "lace" in the body makes for a cool composition.

Thanks 40StudeDude, there is no need in arguing with a clod. It's pointless.

And to all the other folks, thanks eh! One last photo from me for this show. This 56 Nomad is one of Art & Michael Chrismans creations. This Nomad had some kick ass super subtle mods, that were impossible to notice until the owner pointed some of them out to you. Super amazing work on the part of the Chrismans.

I must agree that Herman Munster Knob is sick! What a cool idea.
