hey - will anyone be coming down to look at all the shiny cars this weekend? I dont know if there will be a good selection of traditional cars there or not - but I can tell ya I will be there selling my stuff - Rat Fink merchandise, hot rod movies, posters, stickers, magazines, etc. Wear your HAMB shirt and come by the booth and I will give you a free Rat FInk item! woo hoo! be sure to tell me your HAMB name! later http://www.autorama.com/casi/omaha.htm
well - that is 2 cars! lets hope there are about 20 more at least huh? do you know if there is a section dedicated to traditional cars at this show?
No, there's not a section that's dedicated to traditional cars, but there will be quite a few of them there. The local Rebels car club will have a group of cars, another local club will have a few cars, and mine will be displayed in the OSR/CKD magazine area.... There are other HAMB members that will have cars there.
This one should be there, Not a HAMBer owned car but alot of the work was done by a HAMBer and some of the build up was posted on the HAMB.
Any talk of a meet and greet? I'll be there later today with my two sons. I'm going to bed now so I'll wake up tomorrow. Hang 10 fellas!!!
Malcolm wanted to tell ya how much we liked the top on your car but never cought up with ya till the move out....way cool...John
Hey, did anybody get any pictures? I saw you Malcom, I think I drooled on it a little, or at least on the flake. Did anyone happen to a picture of that little chevy with the 4bt Cummins?
I got pix - but I wont be able to post them til after Lonestar or Viva also wanted to say thanks to all the nice people from Omaha - looking forward to seeing ya'll next week down in TX. The response on the magazine has still been favorable and of the thousand printed we have already gone through about 200! Second printing may see us getting the printing done in NE - who knows!? Thanks again and I will post the pix as soon as I can
I'm about to start a new thread with a hundred or better. Hope I got everyone in there. Malcom, great to meet you! I didn't get a shot of the Ford due to a dead battery in the camera. Hope to meet those I missed over the week end someday soon. Watch for thread titled "So,...Who likes cars? More from World of Wheels, Omaha."
On behalf of the show staff and host club (MSRA), I would like to thank all the HAMBers who came out to the show this year. I hope everyone had a great time! I know we did. Jim Karls Show Chairman Omaha World of Wheels

Jim Karls, I'd like to thank you and the MSRA club members for their help and hospitality this past weekend. All of you did a great job handling the show, especially with the added burden of hosting the ISCA Finale. Thanks again, Jimmy Austin
