well just as i started making headway on my brakes, i took a step back. the part i need is the " u " shaped bracket that threads onto each of the rear emergency brake cables, and the parking brake cable that goes to the handle in the cab. these brackets all hold the cables on the center parking brake bracket under the rear crossmember. i also need the pins that go through it with the cotter pin hole. pic is below. no one ive tried has this part including napa, joblot, and a local truck parts store. ive looked on macs, midfifty, and vintageford. oh its for a 52 F1.thanks

Check with a farm supply store they have all sorts of stuff like that just think outside of the box and you will find one

  6. Tractor supply, Grainger, McMaster Carr.......

    Have you found them yet?

One particular use is to triangulate/support a door or gate so it wont sag.
    Maybe look near the allthread.
Try a search for turnbuckle, this is a related part and may show up as well.
