Had some one send me this via Email and thought that HAMB land would love to see the detail shots of the Impala. The Impala was at the Starbird show in Wichita and messed with a lot of people. I kan't imagine all of the headaches that went into the top. I wish that it had different wheels but other then that it Kapital "K" Kool!!!

Wow, some great looking work, just can't get past those wheels. Maybe they're just mock-ups.

Click on the site and it shows the work involved with the removal of the top. Its not easy but somtimes kool is hard work.

If it had some spiders or caps it would look more like a concept from GM. That would throw it over the top. I need to photo shop some different wheels.

    Happy Trails,

cool concept. as long as you've got 3 friends around to help you remove it and store it.not to be a dick but you would think with as much money and time that went into this car they would have been able to get the steering wheel straight!!

The twin rear antennae would look like shit on any other car. On that one? PERFECT!
Ten years from now he'll look at a picture of the car and say "WTF was I thinking with those wheels?"

Man, that top is an engineering marvel.

I'd love to see it with some chrome smoothies on it! Someone Photoshop some wheels on there!

Not sure the wheels and tires are HAMB friendly but the car is awesome.

I don't know, I'm not feeling the roof. What's the point if you have to take it all apart every time? Just a regular convertible would be much more practical. If you were out somewhere with the top off, I doubt you'd be able to put it back on by yourself.

quite a bit of engineering going on there, and it looks like a car built to very high standards... but when it is all said and done you either have a hardtop with weird seams and other oddities, or a convertible with a wierd header panel that just looks like you cut the top off a hardtop.

    oh.. and the wheels.

Haha ! I was wondering how many posts it would take for someone to comment on the mirrors. That was the second thing I noticed about it.

Yep wheels look like shit, but the rest of the car is amazing. Really like the detail on the engine compartment. Gary
