    Nice work fortypickup!

Early or not here is what I did this week. It's a storyboard style piece of a Hot Rod race gone bad...

definitely a Robt. Williams influence on this one...I had planned to add another panel but I ran out of time as it was an assignment for a class...

great as always so far... I always forget to snap photos before I ship them out. Maybe if Flat-top Bob or Detoxdts reads this they will snap a shot of what they got from me.

    I'm a bum.

...here's a panel from the Brush Rush North ..and the only pic I got of the "gang stripe " car, I did the tire cover, Herb Martinez did the trunk. .and my clock, ..it's 2 layers of glass about an inch apart and for the pendulum I used an old stripin' brush

Here's something from a photo I took earlier this week (posted in the Wednesday photo show). I wanted to do a "say it, don't spray it" style Flathead t-shirt design for those in the know. This is in the design stage right now, but I could go to print soon on it.

    lemme know what you think.

    awesome, I want it.

  16. I love this. Don't know that the "8BA" is even needed though. I'd buy one if it was offered on something other than a black or white shirt.

Great start for the art show fortypickup, always like your work.!1-shot slinger, I like that stuff , nice display. Jigger, the 58 is getting nice.Surfmonkey, always like what you do, prismicolors are FUN!
Well, I just got finished with this at 3 o'clock this morning so I could feel good about myself this week. The Trendero was always a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I use to trace it right out of the Car Craft it was in in the 60's when I would get bored at granny's house when she use to babysit me! It was a challenge , and I.m sure some details are off, but I did my best. When you draw it , you start to appreciate what the original builder's intention was no matter how wacky. Hey Moriarity, I decided to do it yellow and I hope you like it. I wish the pic was a little better.
The other pic is of a car I saw in one of my little east coast mags of a combo of a 53 Studebaker front clip joined with a 59 ElCamino quarters and rear end. The one in the article, can't find it right now, is kinda ugly , but what a concept. Would make a neat model car if nothing else. I can smell the glue now!
Well , thats all I got this week, next week is Ranchero week for me, got something crazy lined up.

    "T" is served.
Kandy Marigold Orange on a '25 T is a tasty brew.

This one was inspired by a car that was featured
in "Rodding and Restyling" in July of 1960. The original
was owned and built by a fellow named Richard Andre
of Santa Cruz, CA. Mr. Andre did the build which started
out as a coupe and Gene Winfield did the paint!

Richard Andre, if you're still out there,
this one is dedicated to you.
